Income Tax Disclosure [Abstract] | |
Income taxes | Income TaxesAs of March 31, 2021 and December 31, 2020, the Company’s liability for gross unrecognized tax benefits (excluding interest and penalties) totaled $1.9 million and $1.8 million, respectively. The Company had accrued interest and penalties relating to unrecognized tax benefits of $56,000 and $50,000 on a gross basis at March 31, 2021 and December 31, 2020, respectively. The change in the liability for gross unrecognized tax benefits reflects an increase in reserves established for federal and state uncertain tax positions. The Company does not currently expect significant changes in the amount of unrecognized tax benefits during the next twelve months. |
